World Contraception Day

PROBLEM:

“Bayer AG” is a global partner of the “World Contraception Day”. The company holds events among medical workers as part of the “World Contraception Day”, but has no opportunity to work among the general population.

DECISION:

In the framework of the “World Contraception Day” for several years the NGO “Dva Kryla” with the support of “Bayer AG” implemented public initiatives to protect women’s reproductive health, abortion prevention, family planning and sexual education of young people. These initiatives had different forms: conferences with experts and public participation; master classes for journalists on the specifics of coverage of the topic; educational seminars for girls and women; youth rallies, concerts and flash mobs; social advertising campaigns.

RESULT:

Focus of activity within the “World Contraception Day” on working with the population and solving socially significant problems allowed reducing the number of abortions among young people under 20 years old, attracting additional media attention to form the company’s publicity in Kazakhstan and helped to form the loyalty of future direct consumers of the company’s products.
