In Kazakhstan, some girls find it difficult to adapt when they become students. Many of them come from small towns and villages; a dramatic change in lifestyle, a different cultural environment, and a new mentality of urban residents – all of this leads to stress. These girls need soft, unobtrusive help.
A series of events called “Beauty Day” was held at Almaty universities. Mary Kay Company became a partner of the project. At these events the girls learned about the ways of hygiene of young skin, learned how to make up properly, received tips on fashion trends and pleasant gifts, learned about the possibilities of women’s entrepreneurship, talked and made friends with each other. In total, the project covered 10 Almaty universities and over 1.5 thousand female students.
